The Image of God in a Culture of Death

Tuesday September 26, 11:00am-12:45pm

HOST: Stand For Life

In this post-Roe world, the Church has a significant opportunity to be the most relevant, safe and welcoming place for women and their preborn children in their time of need. But we must provide a vision of hope that affirms the dignity of ALL human life – in every stage and situation. Only when we fully understand that each life is created in God’s image, will we be able to transform our culture.

Preaching the [conscious] Majesty of Christ

Preaching the Reality of Christ in the Local Church

Tuesday September 26, 4:45-6:15pm

HOST: Crossway / Neopolis Network
SPEAKERS:
Dr. R. Kent Hughes

This Auxiliary event, sponsored by Crossway Books and hosted by Neopolis Network, will look at the role of preaching the reality of Christ in the local church. This panel will reflect on what might be called ‘experiential preaching.’ Within the historical African American church preaching the conscious reality and majesty of Christ is crucial: the minister embodies the message. In other traditions as well from Richard Baxter to Jonathan Edwards, to Martyn Lloyd-Jones to today, pastors must aim to preach not only the truthfulness of Christ, but also his reality. Join Dr. R. Kent Hughes and other speakers.

Cradle to Cap and Gown

A Look at Shepherding the Young for the Weary Pastor

Tuesday September 26, 9:30-10:30pm

HOST: Kaleidoscope Kids Bibles / Good Book Company
SPEAKERS:
Abbey Wedgeworth, Caroline & Luke Saunders, and Chris Ammen

Of course you want your church to have vibrant children and youth ministries. The stresses and demands of church leadership, however, often leave pastors focused on putting out fires instead of being able to focus on fanning this flame. If building sustainable and thriving ministries to young families, children, and youth feels back-burnered, frustrating, daunting, or downright impossible in the life of your church right now, this event is for you. Come and be refreshed, encouraged, and inspired to minister to the littlest people in your church practically and sustainably with Abbey Wedgeworth, Caroline & Luke Saunders, and Chris Ammen. Event hosted by The Good Book Company and Kaleidoscope Kids Bibles.
